Software as a Service (SaaS) Inside Sales / Business Development Representative

Endeavor Commerce, a leading SaaS provider in the Configure Price Quote (CPQ) market is expanding. Endeavor is seeking a full-time Inside Sales/Business Development Representative with top-of-funnel SaaS selling experience. This is an internal position that requires no travel. Ideal candidate identifies and helps to develop strategic relationships with potential customers. He or she will assists in the development of a strong pipeline of new prospects through direct or indirect customer contact and prospecting. He or she will work with marketing and sales teams to execute business development initiatives. The position requires a bachelor's degree in business, finance or marketing with at least 2-3 years of experience.The candidate must be goal oriented with demonstrated ability to take direction but drive work habits and practices on their own. The candidate must also have the desire to develop into an enterprise sales representative/quota carrying role.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Qualifies all leads from Inbound Marketing
    • Responds to all inbound leads within 30 minutes of getting the request.
    • Applies appropriate process and follow through based on type of inbound lead.
    • Communicates directly with prospects to determine need and fit for CPQ (What is driving the interest? What are the compelling reason for CPQ? Is the company greater than $25M in revenue and 100 Employees? What is timeline? What is Budget? What is the #of CPQ Users required?)
    • Qualify quickly as a fit for CPQ or move to nurture campaign.
    • Develops an understanding of the prospective customer’s business operations particularly as it relates to sales, marketing and product management workflow/business processes.
    • Researches prospective customers online and logs all relevant company, contact and event data into CRM
    • Develops a keen understanding of the company’s target market and competitors in order to better distinguish prospective client fit and pitch advantages of Endeavor’s solutions.
  • Develops new prospects by profiling and calling into vertical market segments
    • Researching vertical market companies and logging all relevant data into CRM.
    • Making contact with key business and IT decision makers to schedule meetings and demonstrations.
  • Converts qualified leads to Opportunities
    • Complete discovery process including initial out of the box demonstrations.
    • Gains agreement on an evaluation plan with deliverables and dates.
    • Logs all activities into the CRM system and transfer to enterprise sales executive.

Candidate Characteristics

  • Proven track record of successful SaaS sales prospecting and top of funnel selling.
  • Understanding and experience working in IT solutions and services
  • Presentation & demonstration skills
  • Ability to translate and demonstrate technology features into compelling customer benefits.
  • Operates independently (schedules appointments, advances sales, brings in resources as needed)
  • Goal Oriented and desire to exceed expectations.
  • Works well within a team.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools.

Qualifications & Experience

  • At least 2–3 years of SaaS Biz Dev/ Sales experience
  • Technical knowledge of computing infrastructure in the following areas: SaaS, enterprise software applications (such as CRM, ERP,Microsoft, SAP, Oracle, SharePoint, Salesforce.com)
  • Ideal candidate will have solid understanding of business use cases and workflow solutions
  • College degree desired
