Software as a Service (SaaS) Sales Executive

Endeavor Commerce, a leading SaaS provider in the Configure Price Quote (CPQ) market is expanding. Focused on the creation of vertical marketplaces, Endeavor is seeking full-time Sales Executives with experience selling SaaS solutions at various levels within organizations including the C-Suite. This is an internal position that requires minimal travel (~10%).

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Full-Sales Lifecycle.
  • Design and execute sales models and lead generation initiatives (including cold calling, networking & channel working) in order to identify and contact prospective clients and establish and manage new business relationships and accounts.
  • Develop and manage relationships across functional departments and ranging from executive management to working level.
  • Qualify Given Leads from the Inbound Marketing Team and using a consultative sales approach assist the company in the acquisition and development of new business.
  • Develop a keen understanding of the prospective customer’s business operations particularly as it relates to sales, marketing and product management workflow/business processes.
  • Develop a keen understanding of the company’s target market and competitors in order to better distinguish to clients the advantages of Endeavor’s solutions.
  • Lead software demonstrations that convey a firm grasp of the prospective customer’s business as well as specific benefits derived from utilizing our software solution.
  • Influence various stakeholders of the prospective customer and convey specific benefits depending upon their role.
  • Negotiate agreements for the sale of software and/or associated professional services.
  • Create specific targeted sales plans for territory and account base and report to upper management on a regular basis.
  • Maintain an accurate and forecastable sales pipeline
  • Full utilization of CRM system to manage accounts, contacts and all associated business development activities.
  • Occasional travel to trade shows and conferences to assist the company’s marketing team

Candidate Characteristics

  • Proven track record of successful sales (consistently meeting/exceeding quota) for software applications
  • Deep understanding and experience working in IT solutions and services
  • Existing relationships with business customers
  • Outstanding presentation & demonstration skills
  • Ability to translate and demonstrate technology features into compelling customer benefits.
  • Operates independently (schedules appointments, advances sales, negotiates agreements, brings in resources as needed but still “quarterbacks” the deal.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools.

Qualifications & Experience

  • At least 3 years of enterprise software sales experience
  • At least 2 years of SaaS experience (preferred)
  • Strong technical knowledge of networks and computing infrastructure in the following areas: SaaS, enterprise software applications (such as CRM,ERP, eCommerce, Supply Chain Management, ERP)
  • Ideal candidate will have solid understanding of business use cases and workflow solutions
  • College degree required
